Storing wet brushes bristle side up or on their sides can allow for water to seep into the brush, ruining the glue. For that reason, its important that you let your brushes dry upside down after washing. The easiest, cheapest solution is to use a hair tie or rubber band! Fold a hair tie around a towel rack (or hanger) and shimmy your brush through each loop. Thank you for reading this super quick post!

Seen this before, but it's still pretty neat-o! I usually hang mine upside down on the Real Techniques...travel...case...thingy. Like this: http://www.hannahhepton.com/spare-change-sunday-johnsons-baby-shampoo-brush-cleaning/
ReplyDeletei've actually come to the same conclusion but my solution was a lot less elegant than yours. i had a cloth hanger and some rubber bands. my brushes kept falling down and it was just a pain lol.

this is such a creative idea, we've never thought of doing this at all. It would make finding our brushes so much easier, and our vanity less clustered. We're going to have to find something to attach the rubber bands to though. But love this idea!! We'd love to see any other DIY storage ideas you have!
